20251122 As an adult, I still lived with my parents, and so did my sister. But i had the wisdom i currently have now. We lived in a very spacious home which used to be an office building or an old science laboratory. I hhad a bunch of notes and letters from the post and my family. The last one i read was from my sister claiming i stole sewing thread from her.

My father's family came to visit along with members of the church. When they rang the doorbell, I rushed into the bathroom and my sister saw me shut the door, assuming i was hiding from them. I was preparing myself because i have social anxiety and i am easily overwhelmed in crowds. When i was ready, i walked into a bedroom with a clear glass wall looking into the living room. My mom was showing it to my family when i came in.

Soon quickly, members of the church swarmed me with questions. One man asked, "where can i take a quick nap?" Another young boy asked, "i'm bored is there something to do here?" I talked to them one by one as more people asked me like tourists, but i remember these two best.

"You can sleep here," i said to the tired man.

I gestured to the boy to follow me and led him into the living room. "We don't have much for entertainment. I usually watch television or am on my computer, but i can connect you to our wifi."

"That'll do, and don't worry, I can do that myself." He pulled out a short, three inch cord and connected it to a device sitting in our living room. It resembled a sound board but for entertainment. He was getting the information to his phone.

The whole time i helped people, my sister slinked in the background, spying on me for no reason other than her pettiness and anger. It was time to deal with her. I told her directly, "i didn't steal thread from you. I would always ask for it. And even if i did take some i'm clever enough to do it without you noticing. Why would i need your thread anyway when i have my own larger set of sewing materials?" I felt so angry and betrayed she would blame me.

20250621 i was in school and running late to catch the bus home. I hopped in from the back, escape door, passing and waving to Shortbread and her sister on the way to an empty seat near the driver. Then the bus was off.

After several drop offs, the bus halted in a traffic jam. The engine was also dead from being the heatwave. I realized the street we were on was unfamiliar and not on the usual route, as well as Shortbread was never on my bus home. I was on the wrong bus.

My backpack wasn't with me either - i'd left it in my classroom, along with my cellphone.

"Sir," i called to the driver. He was elderly with white whisps of hair, glasses, and a red sweater vest on a white button-up shirt. "I'm on the wrong bus. I forgot my backpack and i don't have any money to get home."

He left his seat and pulled out a notebook and flipped to a page with music notes he'd written. Pointing at them he said, "do you know what these mean? I forgot them, but now i remember. They stand for 'peace...'" He waited for us to fill in the blanks: 'love', 'unity', 'respect', and 'trust'.

I checked the time overhead; it was 17:44 - at 18:00 i had to wake my baby and breastfeed her. I was not going to make it on time.

I called out to Shortbread behind me. "Can i borrow your phone a sec?" I asked.

"Of course."

I made my way to the back of the bus. The other students, tired and faint from the heatwave, lazed in their seats. Shortbread's sister leaned against the window as i approached and Shortbread pulled me into the vacant seat beside her.

She cheerfully handed me her phone.

"It finally pays to memorize a [phone] number," i said as i took it.

"Who are you going to call?" She asked as i tried to press the tiny buttons on the touch screen. Her phone was small with a tiny screen. It literally was also a piece of well-toasted toast, sliced in half. My fingers kept dialing the wrong numbers as i tried to press the '4'.

"Dean [Winchester]," (Cookie) i responded.

20250116 i worked in a retail store, and then took part time at another retail store. I preferred the second one and told my coworkers. We went to lunch together, which included Mango and Papaya and their eldest son who was three. Papaya and I filled on desserts.

i went on a field trip in a packed coach bus in university, to a local museum. There were floating, mulocoloured, huge fish swimming in the air above our heads. We spent the day there, and left just as it became 4pm. Most of the students have left on their own, and on the bus home, it was just a handful of us left and the female professor.

She asked the driver to stop somewhere in the middle of a busy town. I asked, “were thise floating fish real or...” but the bus was still dead silent and I felt embarrassed, realizing what I've just said.
I was the last to jump off the bus, but I grabbed an umbrella because it was raining. I took a pvc, clear one with many coloured polkadots. We crossed the street in the pouring rain and stopped at an outdoor market, just outside another art museum.

20241217 i was on my old computer from the 90's - a beige desktop that became dirtier and yellow with age. On Windows 95, I opened a chatroom with Shortbread, but my messages were all in a different language. I tried to fix it and the words became Russian.

----
I woke up in a bright room in one of two twin beds separated by my baby's bassinet. The bassinet was upsidedown with my baby underneath but safe in the basket area. The other bed was Cookie's. In the corner, where my feet pointed, was my computer.

20241128 i drove to a high school meet up at a computer cafe by myself. Cookie was at work and couldn't attend. The music was loud. There was so many people i didn't know, but i soon found Spritz and Shortbread at computers at a quieter corner. I took a spot beside Spritz and played a game for a couple of hours. When it was late and everyone was heading home, the three of us hitched a ride with a couple in their white station wagon. When we stopped at a gas station, i realized i left my car at the computer cafe. I turned to Shortbread and Spritz and exclaimed i could've driven them home myself.

20240730 Cookie and I went to an outdoor bar with our high school friends. I think there was a festival because most of our friends went exploring. Even though I am in my third trimester of pregnancy, I was mixing a drink for Amaretti. It was a light yellow, sweet cocktail. I brought it to him, who was comfortable on an outdoor sofa, and Cookie was sitting near him, chatting. Cookie showed me his phone. There was a text message chat open. He told me this lady was texting him, and seemed interested in getting to know him. I felt a pang of fear and grief. I didn't tell him, but I worried she was going to steal him away from me. In her profile picture, she was young and beautiful, and Cookie is a more than wonderful person.

20230606 I don't remember my first dream anymore, but I remember my second one better. I was with four other boys, and we were probably superheroes - guardians of the world. Our headquarters were in the sky just above the clouds, in a building that was massive and elliptical in shape (it resembled Tipoca City on Kamino in Star Wars). On the news we heard the world below was suffering a pandemic - a virus - and we were scared. Not long after, we received a mission to go down and watch a little boy. A partner (or two) and I went down, to a little warehouse. When we met the boy, he told us his mother was looking after an elderly man in the room adjacent to us. In our current room, there were many cathode ray tube (CRT) television screens stacked from floor to ceiling. Each one displayed SMPTE colour bars. When I asked the boy if his mother needed help, he said she said she didn't. She worked taking care of the elderly.

I opened the door to check on them and was horrified by the smell as I walked in. The elderly man was laying on the bed while she cleaned soiled, wet puddles of watery stool around the room. She wasn't happy she had to clean it, but she'd rather do it alone than have another involved, I wondered if the elderly man has the virus.

20230528 Rummaging through a filled garage, stacked with rows upon rows of metal shelves, I came across a partially opened cardboard box. I pulled out a picture book with a familiar-looking girl on the cover. It was a book about Jyn Erso's adventures before the events of Star Wars: Rogue One.

-------

Cookie's four-year-old nephew was having another birthday party for his friends only. Despite not having children, cookie and I were invited, so we awkwardly watched children run around the party hall.

Stacks of colouring sheet packages and a cup of crayons sat on a foldable table. I took one stack and began colouring the dinosaur-themed package. Not soon after, the nephew's mother's friend, and her two sons, were leaving. She searched the colouring packages for her sons' names but only found one. Dread set into my system as I flipped through the sheets I found a name written on the top right of the package.

I rushed to Cookie's nephew's mother telling her what I'd accidentally done - I didn't know they were only for the children. Overhearing my panic, my mother-in-law handed me a black USB stick and pointed me to a door.

"You can print out more colouring pages in there," she said, patting my shoulder.

Cookie and I entered the room. Everything was white. The only things in the room were a single computer and a black printer in the centre of the room. I booted up the stick in Windows Explorer to see thousands of files, and to my horror, none of them were in folders. I used the search function without luck, and after a few minutes, I decided to try searching on the internet for the exact same colouring book pages to print.

20230323 I can't remember how it began, but Biscotti stopped by out house (which had Cookie's grandparent's house's layout). I was watching a streaming tv show up in Cookie's and my bedroom. I set up our printer because he wanted to watch Doctor Who next, as if printing something would change the playlist of my television. Soon, Spritz arrived, then Shortbread, who took the transit. As we were watching my show, the paper jams in the printer and we fix it with much struggle. Also while we watched my show, Spritz put a CD into my CD player to watch after, as if that eould affect my playlist as well. When it was finally done, Shortbread said she had to leave to catch the busses, but Biscotti volunteered to drive her home. She stayed longer and we went down to grab a snack.

Biscotti's little brother was lazing on the sofa with Cookie. I asked why they didn't come up; Cookie just shrugged.

In the middle of the night, I woke up and went to the main floor because I heard a sound. Cookie was wide awake and came up from the basement. In the hallway, between us, was a polar bear. We stood still as I recalled the rhyme about what to do:

If a bear is brown, lie down;
If a bear is black, fight back;
If a bear is white, good night.

The bear didn't seem to notice us as it began descending the stairs to the basement. As doon as it was far enough, I closed the lights and shut the door, noticing the RBG on Cookie's computer was on. Cookie wasn't sleepy so he was playing Hearthstone.
“What do we do?” Cookie asked.
As I checked Google Maps on my smartphone, looking for animal control. One was open at 1:30. It was now 2:00. Relieved and eager to get rid of the bear, I called them.

20201005

I was on a small cruise ship with at least two other female friends and Cookie. I don't remember much of the dream except three events.

We'd docked and the sun was setting. I left the ship to explore and came across some grassy hills with dusty paths across it and into its valleys. There were people playing there, and I wanted to see what they were playing. As they were running and climbing the slopes, the sun began fading and fog drew up from the ground. The only lights around us were from our cellphones and the moon. It was very eerie, like being in a horror film. I took my phone out to help find a way back up the hill, but the battery was running out.

We stood at the ship's rails, looking down at a view like Niagara Falls. Some of the ship's guests and our adventurous friends went down closer, maybe to put their feet in or swim. I sat on the floor by a young woman in her bathing suit. She started talking to us. In her hand was an emerald-coloured drink, and when I inquired about it, she said it's called the "Cat's Call". I got up, because I wanted one.

It was sweet, alcoholic and fruity, I was sure there was peach schnapps in its recipe. I took it to Cookie who said it was tasty. So I gave it to him. He asked what it was, and I replied, "Pussy's Call".

I was told of a story of finding a young woman sleeping on a platform attached to the ship and was floating just above water level. The ship was sinking, but she was fast asleep. One of the crew members was trying to wake her, but when she wouldn't, he slung her over his shoulder and carried her away.

I was was with Cookie trying to solve something. We met many people and went to many places. The last I remember was camping in a parking lot outside a rundown inn. Through speakers, I heard Cookie being called and we went inside to meet the owner, a short, vicious man and his servants. We all went to the roof, where the sky was grey and cloudy and sat down on fancy, iron chairs with a table in front of us. We discussed a job he had for us and would pay us in lodging, but I don't think Cookie was interested.

I was part of a kingdom who was at war with another, and I viewed the world in a slanted bird's eye view. The kingdom I was a part of used baby blue to represent their kingdom, while the neighbouring kingdom used red. The land we shared had rolling hills of green grass and the sky always retained its bright blue hue. It never became night.

I was a prince in the blue kingdom with the ability to switch bodies with any subject I chose. My best friend was Tim Drake as Robin, in his red and black uniform, and black cape with yellow lining. I borrowed his body often to visit the red kingdom and see the princess. Sometimes he would visit the princess when I couldn't and send her messages of my affection. Of all our subjects, he had the fastest speed when covering ground, and used his acrobatic skill to dodge attacks from enemy subjects. In his body, I through the grassy fields, reaching the outermost point of the enemy's kingdom. There were ruins of protective walls scattered about in rings around the kingdom. As soon as I entered the first ring, I learned they had learned to build robots, using them as killer machines. The majority travelled in swarms, and I was able to destroy a few, but I soon felt the floor shake with heavy footprints. Scanning the horizon, I saw a gigantic, humanoid/bug-like machine racing towards me. It was black and red and both hands were machine guns. I dodged most of its attacked, but I took heavy damage until I died. Although Tim's body was lying in the grass, lifeless, I was still alive as a  ghost soul. I watched as the red king came out and ordered his army to stop. Stop everything. He walked a distance away from his kingdom, into a display of chairs and tables, and plates neatly spaced out. I soon realized it was where the reception of a wedding was to take place. The princess was by her father, weeping because her friend was killed. The king gave a speech to all his subjects who had gathered closely around him, including his robot subjects. They listened to the king talk aabout ending the war, because they had killed the princess' friend. I could not figure out if the wedding that was set up was for the princess and I, or for the princess and another prince. I also couldn't figure out if the princess cried because Tim had died or she might be marrying another prince.

I was at a strange school with people I didn't know. There were about six guys who invited me to join their fraternity; I accepted. There was a shota, and a serious, young man with dark hair, a red-head who wasn't as pretty as the rest of his brothers, and a blond. We met in the main hall with tall ceilings and filled with sunlight.  When everyone started to leave, the dark-haired one took my hand and led me away from the locker room we exited to confess he liked me, and I liked him back, but I had a boyfriend. I don't remember what happened after that.

We all had a class together and everyone's seats were separated. Our class was outdoors with pillars marking four corners, and was located beside a beach with a lighthouse. I had my tablet and was playing the first Super Mario Brothers game from Nintendo. Someone beside me was playing a Kirby game, unaware of its volume, and the teacher noticed. There was an intoxicated popular girl from a sorority who left our class, and went to the beach to swim. She left missing along with her boyfriend, the blond from the fraternity. The guy who liked me told us they might've gone to the lighthouse, so the teacher went after them angrily.

Saturday, March 9, 2013

I was watching a movie on my computer. It was a good and sad, but imaginative. Started like a game in an almost bird's eye view, I watched a young man become surrounded by a bunch of guards who came to the sand-coloured, cobblestoned floor and bothered him for something. When they left, I don't remember the transition, but he found himself in an underground place with shadows. He became a kid here and cried as he wandered through until a little girl met him and toyed with him. She zipped through dimensions, opening and closing  windows of gold fairy dust, eventually inviting him in. The shadow world around him became lively of people hiding from the world above and its corrupt government. He lived there with her, and they grew up and married. But something happened and he died, but not by natural causes... maybe killed when the police found the place. The girl, now a woman, he behind was pregnant with their child. She raised him in his memory as a single mother, and the last scene took place in front of an ice cream shop, rebuilt in the destroyed underground dimension. The man behind the bar was broad like a sailor at a fish market. I cried through the majority of the movie and instant messaged Shortbread about it. Two little boys from my mother's side wanted to play with my computer, and because I'm a soft-spoken person, I used force when I said, "you can only watch this movie" and shoved the older child's shoulders in front of the monitor. I didn't want him playing with my files inside. He was holding two holographic fusion card monsters in his hands from the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game, and I asked him if he liked Yu-Gi-Oh. He shyly answered me.

Shortbread and I were working on Project E.P.I.C at her house when we took a break to relax in her backyard. She slipped on her sand-coloured sneakers before stepping onto the wooden patio overlooking the green grass below. She took a seat on the steps, while I got my smartphone. I asked her what the password was to her wireless, but she didn't know. Her dad (Shortbread and I are unrelated; my uncle was her dad in this dream) overheard us and gave it to me. He also told me to wait because I shouldn't go outside without shoes. He came back with pointed toe red heels and I can't remember what happened here very well- something about wearing one of the shoes in a special way. After he put these shoes on my feet, I was free to join Shortbread. I explained about the shoes when she asked, and she responded that one of my legs must not be even. I wondered how they would figure that out when I looked down at my feet and saw my left foot was slightly pinker, as if more blood flowed into it.

Monday, January 14, 2013

I was with Shortbread, Cookie and Flan from university. We were in a building that looked like a university, but it was empty, like at night time. We were there for a relative's birthday, but the three of us left because we didn't fit in with my family. We sat on a bench on the top floor bridge/balcony, over looking the ground floor, and especially the floor-to-ceiling glass window with a view of of the lavender sky and setting sun. On the horizon was the sea, glistening by the dirt, country road. Directly above was a white sheet, which Disney's Tangled was being projected on. We watched as we worked on something on our laptops. When it was time to eat, my uncle came out and called us, a plate of food in his hands. Flan held out his hand for me to take, and I took Cookie's hand as well. Hand in hand, we joined my family for food.

Monday, November 26, 2012

We moved into a new house and the walls were all white. I was sitting on my bed with a vacuum cleaner, seeing what it would suck up from the objects on my bed. Next, I put it on my hand to see if it would hurt if it sucked my skin, but it felt nice. Our aunt came to visit and so did another relative. One of their grandparents just died and they were transferred into our bathtub. While everyone was outside, I stayed in my room with Cookie and we watched television. There was a talk show on, with a man and woman in their underwear and I can't remember what they were doing. My mom knocked on the door and I open it 'cause it was time to pay my respects. The wife was in the bathroom and she was young. She let us both inside and then left. Just as she was closing the door behind behind  my mom and I, we freaked out a little and decided first we have to dress nicely. So back in my room, I noticed I had my own small bathroom and a closet. I was happy. I got changed then went back to pay respects.

Saturday, November 17, 2012

I had a dream we adopted or had a boy come live with us. I was in the living room watching Sex and the City and, while I was drawing on my laptop, he had the remote and kept muting it when he talked to my mom. I got angry at him and when he became unbearable, I kicked him in the nuts.

Cookie and I were at a hotel with high school friends and many other people we didn't know. At first we were assigned a room with Sugar on the first floor that had lockers, so Sugar asked me to lock the locker as soon as I was done. Soon a worker came to our room telling us we were assigned the wrong room and to follow them. So we went to a room on the second floor where our class was. It was someone's wedding, maybe mine, and everyone had pretty dresses. When I saw Sugar again, she asked me about the locker, so I ran back to the first room and got the content, which was one item. When I came back upstairs, I saw everyone already in their dresses and some in a room learning something from a teacher. I took my dress but couldn't find an empty room to change in, but I found Cookie with two of his friends he plays Yu-Gi-Oh with and I asked for him to help me change. He took  me to a corner of a hallway and stood with his back towards me. one of his friend's kept trying to sneak a peak while I changed, so I kicked him in the nuts.

Saturday, October 27, 2012

I was with Cookie and we were with two of his friends from university in a dark basement with old wooden walls from the 1990s. We were playing games like Baldur's Gate and we went to a dungeon where I died. I watched them play longer, then when Cookie died I checked the time. It was seven in the morning. I thought it was only seven in the evening but I realized I use the 24 hour time on my watch; we played games the whole night. I told him and we panicked and rushed to leave. I worried saying, "my mom is going to be angry" and he said, "I have to work tomorrow". We left the front door and came to my aunt's home somewhere far away. We were staying there for the night. We went upstairs and saw my mom on the computer by the window who was unhappy and worried about being jobless. I looked out the window and took pictures of the night sky and high rise buildings for my project for photography. It was a long wait to get those pictures, as I held my camera for a few seconds trying not to shake. When I was done, we went to bed. When it was morning, Cookie let me visit his hotel room. He was sharing it with a lady who was my boss and I suddenly turned into a man who was trying to quit his job from a difficult boss. I told her although I worked there for years and I thought she was wonderful, she was also an infuriating jerk. I kept going on from the notes I wrote and talked. After I finished. I saw Cookie's bag on the floor and took out his laptop. I opened it slightly and realized he was in a game so I closed it again. I wanted to look at the Greyhound bus schedules to go back home in Toronto. I was in New York.

Wednesday, September 5, 2012

I was in a different country, on an island with a beach. I was staying with my sister and my dad in a small hotel room. I don't remember much around here and there, but my dad told my sister she could stay or leave this country. There was a thunderstorm and hailing wind, but my sister still wanted to stay. We went to the dinning room and sat down, to where food was already on the table. As we ate, a Chinese lady and her mother joined us, eating out of the bowl that I was eating from. After dinner, I wandered the halls alone as the pattering of rain got heavier. I felt like I was missing something, then my cell phone rang. I answered it and it was a broken transmission from Junpei Iori (from the Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 games). He called me twice and through those difficult but decipherable transmissions, he said to go to the old Macintosh computer in one of the hallways, so I did. I stayed on the phone and kept calling to him- I felt he was in danger and I didn't want to lose (another?) friend. We got to the computers and my dad kept talking nonsense as he fidgeted with the cords and computer, and as he did, in the reflection of the screen, I saw my dad, myself on the phone, and Junpei on the phone beside me. When I looked to his direction, he wasn't there. I understood what to do and I pushed a few buttons on the keyboard and the side of the computer, then I woke up.

But I had a short dream after. I was with Junpei at a city's streets at night. The shops were closed and the streets were empty of people except a small group of guys who minded their own business. The only lights present were the street lamps, the stars above, and the moon. He said thank you for bringing him back, and I nodded, tellinging him I didn't want to lose another and one of my oldest friends. Then I told him that even though he was with Chidori and I with my own love, I wanted to thank him in this way, especially because he counted on me for help (since nothing happens in my mundane life) and I kissed him.
