20260219

I was on a mission with Jim Caviezel, who was probably his character Reese from Person of Interest. He was in his signature black suit and his hair had become silvery-grey. I had dark skin, like dark chocolate, and long, red hair that flowed in waves. Our mission was to protect a little Asian girl, about the age of four or five, from enemies who were attempting to kidnap her.

We got separated. Knowing the girl is safest with him, The Man in the Suit took her with him. The pursuers followed them into a train car full of golden straw. He fought them off, while on the phone, and succeeded without shooting anyone in the kneecaps. The little girl hid, hugging her stuffed bunny.

I was interestingly dressed for our sunny winter. I wore purple, reflective sunglasses and a silver peacoat that reached the top of my over-the-knee, caramel-coloured, high-heeled boots. I travelled to the town square of a small town to find information. There was a tall, black gazebo there, with speakers, playing random music. I crossed the gazebo, ending my call with Reese, calling him, 'Starry-fox'. I carried a leather-spined book with research and information relevant to the child. As I walked along an empty road, I let my guard down and a black, gloved hand clapped over my mouth as I dropped the book. I noted an asterisk drawn on the spine in silver marker as I tried to free myself. The last lyrics I heard from the speakers before I blacked out were, "I'll fiddle with my horse until you break it," sung by Shakira.

20250726 i was pretty, slim, with tanned skin and long hair. I was with a boy who looked like Chris Pine. We entered an old building, looking for access to a building that was connected. We chose a floor, which was a warehouse of stuff in giant boxes. We ran into some people who were also looking for a way out of this floor.

Suddenly we heard someone coming, flashlight in hand. We ran, knowing this floor was private property. We couldn't outrun them.

He was heavy set and gruff as he asked us, "what are you doing here?"

"We got lost," Pine said.

The man looked at us from head to toe and nodded. "Follow me."

He led us to the middle of the floor where there  were bright, hot set lights shone over a white back drop. People rushed about, holding vibrant colours of thin clothing as others were seated with makeup being applied to their faces. Pine was pulled away and we were separated as i was ushered into a make up chair and handed a tiny, fuchsia bikini.

The rest of this was a blur. I remember looking at a magazine later and seeing the brands i recognized from the shoot on the pages.

20250423 for Cherry's birthday, we gathered at a restaurant high up top a tall, private building of concrete. It was late afternoon and sunset when we were seated around small, wrought iron food court tables. The building didn't have walls or railings - it was all open space. My aunt brought leftovers from her birthday party: lechon and something else delicious. As we ate, the set and it was dusk.

Our meal was soon interrupted by the loud flapping of a helicopter's blades. Cherry flew the helicopter as close as she could to the building, showing us all how she was doing for her birthday lesson. I excitedly opened my cellphone and FlightRadar24 App to show everyone we could track her movements in the sky. I excited watched her icon on my screen, the tiny, yellow helicopter happily moving around the screen. I kept it open until she was done.

I returned home in a lavish cloth dress. My partner was older - a Sean Connery type - wearing a white suite and black bow tie. I went to the kitchen for something and when i returned to the courtyard, my partner had been in a struggle.

"Call an ambulance!" He exclaimed. The attacker was on the floor, clutching his chest and was face down

20250327 i was part of a small community who lived in the past. We wore long, plain dresses in browns with white aprons, doing mundane tasks. The men wore white shirts with collars, dark pants and black suspenders. We were young, in our early twenties, and prime for marriage.

I had become tangled with two men. One of them was sturdy-built and stocky, with dark hair, skin and eyes. He travelled around the world for work. The other man was short and thinly built with dirty blond hair. The women giggled over him and one popular girl claimed she'll be married to him in the future. After spending time working farm duties with him, we'd grown to like each other. He asked me to marry him.

The traveller returned and learned I'd become someone else's fiancĂ©. He angrily confronted me. He told me all the travelling he did was for me and for our future. I was scared of his rage and ran away from him. The other man found out I use to belong to another. He broke our engagement and I was alone. Whenever I'd enter a room, they would pretend I didn't exist. The girls teased and bullied me. I felt so unwelcome so i'd run away to a hiding place and cry myself to sleep there.

One day, the matron of our community called onto the traveller. He exited her office, upset with a long face. Then she called on a few of the mean girls. One by one they left the office almost in tears. I noticed the people the matron called were related to the incident with me. Once the blond was called, he started slinking to her office, fearful of the news he'd learn. I ran to him, lacing my hand in his to show my support. He didn't reject it. We walked in together and suddenly I felt a horrible feeling. The matron was seated at her desk with her grey, frizzy hair in a bun. The next eldest woman of our community stood beside her grimly. They both looked at me as I entered. I suddenly knew what they were telling everyone.

I had a terminal illness. I was going to die soon.

20250224 Cookie and I had to attend a wedding. Cookie was part of the wedding party and I was his guest.

We were in a mansion, with brick walls as an interior. Everyone was getting ready in the same rooms. Cookie was shaving his face with a cheap, pink, dual-bladed, disposable ladies' razer when I came in the room with the bridesmaids. I exclaimed I forgot to shave my legs and asked Cookie if I may use one of his razers. Of course he let me. He had two bags: one standard shape, and the other had a concaved, crescent blade. I took a crescent one and immediately went to a sink. There were many sinks in a line across the wall. Wetting my leg and then the razer, I did my best to avoid razer burn as I shaved the one centimetre long leg hairs. The razer pulled and I felt stinging pain.

When Cookie was done, he sat on the white-sheeted bed next to me. I looked up, seeing his navy pants legs to the white cap on his head. He was in his naval officer's uniform from the Navy. His coat was decorated with a few medals on his chest. I immediately felt flushed and lustful. I didn't realize the groomsmen were required to wear their uniforms instead of a suit. Before I could comment, they were called to the altar.

As the bridemaids watched the men leave, I heard one say they look gorgeous. I replied, "I'll have to keep [this memory] in my spank bank."

The reception was more like a nightclub with each corner of the room having a different theme, lighting and music. It was messy. I showed my mom, seated at my table, the bride's spending - which was over budget. She grabbed it and showed it to everyone, frantically. I yelled for her to stop or the bride will hate me but it was too late.

The next morning, Cookie and I got packed. Shortbread was getting a ride home with us. We went from room to room, looking for things we could take home with us. Items that wouldn't be missed. Shortbread took a small potted plant.

20250201 It was a beautiful spring day. The leaves were bright green in the sun. I took Baby out on a front facing stroller on public transit, where we got off on a busy street corner near the lake of our metropolitan city. I pushed Baby not far, until we reached a kiosk selling books, board games, plush animals and VHS with bright, realistic illustrations of animals.

I turned the corner to see if they were there. Spritz and his mother were behind the counter, helping customers with transactions while his younger sister sat on the carpeted floor in a white dress, talking and thanking customers and people that came. Spritz was the first to notice me and waved. He had his normal haircut but with experimental short bangs, and his glasses turned into shades in the UV sunlight.

When the crowd left, I approached them and introduced Baby. I asked if she still had copies of the children's book she illustrated and that I'd like to buy a copy.

20250124

It was the last days of university, during exams, though the hallways looked like I was in high school. I wandered the halls, looking for my last class' exam location, though passing the office, I ran into my professor.

"Where have you been?" She asked.
I told her I'm looking for her exam room, then realized since she was standing here, I missed the exam. After rescheduling, I took the subway.

On my way home, I wnted to stop at an underground Chinese mall, where they had a run-down department store. Everything was on one floor. I browsed, looking through kitchenare, clothing, stationary and knickknacks. I stopped at a tablecloth I though was cute. I wanted it, but I was aware I didn't have very much money to freely spend. I debated whether it was worth buying, or buying dinner instead.

-----

It was the end of our vacation at an all-inclusive resort. Cookie and I had gone because of a wedding. Cookie's mum stopped by our room, checking if we remembered to pack our suit and dress.

We pulled put our suitcases. Cookie had brought three suitcases - a large red one, a hand-carry in navy, and a weekender. I had brought two - a hand-carry and weekender.

20241231 my oldest nephew gave me a book of his to borrow at the cottage. It was a really old copy of Beowulf by J.R.R. Tolkien with a red, white and black cover, and yellowing, frayed pages. He's five and a half years old and can barely read.

20230903 I signed up for American Idol, and was following Howie Mandel around long, concrete-painted white hallways in order to get to be ready for my performance. At one point, he turned to me and and told me to pick up “these trays” (they were lime green) and bring them to the judges panel. They were snacks for them.

I passed the audition, where I sang a song by Three Doors Down, and upon learning today that I was on the next round, I had to find another song to sing. I was decided on "Love” by Megan Heise and the Hired Guns, but it was a song that disappeared from the internet.

20230827 I don't remember the first dream very well. Cookie and I were at his family's cottage with his other family circles. One family cancelled because one of their members wwre infected with COVID-19.

I'd entered the main room where everyone was seated. To my surprise, the family with a COVID member was there, happily chatting away with everyone. I felt conflicted.
-----
Cookie and I were with his aunt and uncle. We were at a lobby with wooden panels as walls, and lighting was dim, as if it were a steakhouse or a sauna.

The Japanese hostess approached me. She was dressed in a pretty, red kimono with her hair tied in a neat ponytail. She asked if we would like to have dinner there. I looked at everyone else to see what they thought.
Cookie's uncle responds, “yes, sure. Let's have dinner here.”
“It will be $300 per person,” the hostess said.
I tried to add it up in my head, realizing it was dinner and a Kabuki show. I nervously wanted to change my mind because it was too expensive.

----- naptime
I went on a walk ny a pier with Cookie, Shortbread, my 4 year old nephew and his mom. He was running, misbehaving and tripped, breaking his ankle. Be he didn't cry. His mother was frantic, getting a splint and black electrical tape from her purse and wrapping her kid from head to toe as I sat aside and watched.

While I knelt by them, I thought it was ridiculous how she was wrapping him, but she has a recent First Aid certification. I also noticed I recognized the song the live band played from a stage looking down on us on this sunny day.
I bobbed my head, clapped my hands and raised a fist at the appropriate time to the song. It was “Harlem” by New Politics.
When the kid was ready, he and his mom wennt with emergency personnel, while Cookie, Shortbread and I agreed to walk to meet them somewhere. As I walked, a gust of wind blew a thin, lacy, burgundy dress with long sleeves and tangled it around my legs. I was about to let it continue blowing on its merry way until I saw the pricetag still attached - it was $1,353.00. I checked the label, and it was black, cursive letters on a beige background.
I decided to find the store it came from, and when we walked back a little, there wasn't a clothing store nearby.
“I guess I keep it,” I said, in awe of my luck.

20230716 This could be from two different dreams, but I only remember two fragments.

In the first dream, Clone Medic Kix (from Star Wars The Clone Wars; wearing phase 2 armour) and I looked at each other as if confirming we saw the same thing happen. It was almost dark, and there were human-size chunks of permacrete rubble around us. ARC Trooper Echo was behind Kix, focused on something far in the distance.

In the second dream, I was looking straight out a front door that was wide open. The door frame was wood and tinted an orange-honey colour, and the walls around it were a pale, daffodil colour. Outside, the sky was dark and heavy, like a storm brewing at dusk. The trees and bushes were black and swaying in front of the black iron fence that surrounded the front yard.

20230714 Cookie and I met up with Mango, though I barely remember if he brought his young, two-year-old son. Mango pushed an aged, large-windowed door open as we exited a store. Underneath the door's fresh coat of dark green paint were many dents and scratches. Despite being lightweight, the hinges made it difficult to swing open.

20230626 All I remember was that I had a large teacup of blooming tea. As the petals opened, the bottom of the cup became a concentrated burnt sienna.

20230601 I lived back in my old condo by the Toronto Waterfront, but the layout looked a lot more like my childhood apartment. I awoke from an afternoon nap, and Cookie kissed my forehead. As we were lying on our hotel-white bedsheets, Cookie bolts up and starts rushing to get dressed.

“What's wrong?” I asked.

He pointed to the ceiling, quiet. Listening carefully, I heard it. The carbon monoxide alarms were ringing throughout the building except in our suite. As soon as I was dressed, we peered out our front door and descended the stairs to the courtyard on the 8th floor.

My mom, dad and sister sat at a picnic table where we joined them. I don't remember what happened, but soon we were allowed back into our homes.

Once inside our apartment's white walls, technicians went suite-to-suite checking everyone's alarms. I saw something stuck in ours, hence why it didn't ring, and I pulled it out. The alarm began buzzing and ringing. Luckily, not long after, two male technicians inspected ours and I confessed I broke ours just now. The Latino American one excused himself, saying he'll be back with a new one. I'm not sure where Cookie had gone, but I was alone with the other one. He was Caucasian with brown hair that was mildly curly and a little longer than his ears (he looked a little like Hunter Doohan from the show Wednesday). He was attractive, and despite being confident around his friend, he was shy. He showed me a video that his company made using a drone. We spoke a little and exchanged emails for instant messaging.

Sometime in the future, we had friends over and I messaged him to come join us. When he came, I spent most of my time with him. At one [point, he sat at Cookie's work desk, set up his mini laptop and began typing away, working. I turned around and sorted through cellphone batteries on my desk, finding one that was swollen. I made a mental note to take it to the store to be recycled.

It was morning, and when everyone had left, Cookie and I went for a walk. When we went to the brown postboxes to get our mail, a dog approached us and began pooping in front of us. Cookie stepped back.

“She's very lovely. Or he,” I told the owner, disregarding the dog's actions.

She was a blond, elderly, round woman. She looked at me. “Thank you for not assuming her gender. I don't know what it is.” When the dog was done, they were off and so were we.

I don't remember why, but I stopped to pet an Irish shepherd's silky head, but as she flopped on her back, I decided to lie on the pavement and continue rubbing. Soon a new dog came by and got rubs and cuddles. Then I felt one with curly fur crawl under my legs and lie down. Soon there was a dog by my face. It looked familiar with a salt and peppered black coat and face.

“Hello,” I said to the dog, as its owners came to me happily. It was Cherry and her boyfriend. I looked under my legs to see Peach and Tomato's two, sweet dogs. I enjoyed being in that dog pile, in the sunshine.

20130530 Cookie and I were on a cottage trip in a forest with many trees. We shared a house with his university friends, Peach,Tomato, Mango, Papaya, Persimmon, Blackberry and Raspberry. His sister, her husband and two small children were staying at another cottage nearby.

We arrived at the cottage at dusk. It was a small, compact house with peeling white paint, and old rotting, splintering wood.

20230516

I was at home, and I needed to urinate. Even though the powder room wasn't more than fifteen steps away, I chose the soil of my clivia plant. While I sat, relieving myself in its pot, Cookie walked into the living room. Our eyes met as I continued unapologetically until he walked away wordlessly.

----

I was decluttering a condo unit of a family that had passed, possibly from a car crash. Most of my time was spent in the teenage daughter's room. She liked the colours pink and black, and most of her fashion was punk, but she had knitted sweaters and a few cute dresses as well as plush animals. I felt the need to use the toilet, so I waddled into the bathroom without closing the door completely. As I was relieving my bowels, to my horror, I heard the front door open and shut as someone stepped into the hallway.

20230503 Cookie and I share a king-sized bed with dark grey sheets. I gave birth to a baby recently and laid our baby, swaddled, on our bed surrounded by pillows. Despite being small, the baby had plump cheeks, and much to my relief, didn't look like an elderly man.

I flopped on the bed beside baby and decided to check his diaper. I began to change it, and as I remove the diaper and before I could grab a fresh one, the baby began urinating in a small arc. I didn't know whether to be impressed by the flow of the arc or upset that he just ruined the bed.

20230322 My sleep was fragmented, but I remember two things about my dream(s): Commander Cody (from Star Wars: The Clone Wars) made an appearance, with his “bucket” (helmet) on, and a dark-haired, Asian woman. The woman was strange. She wore a thick, red headband over her shoulder length hair, a fuchsia blouse and periwinkle skirt that reached the floor. I saw her early in my dream, and as the last person I saw before waking.

She pulled away the waistband of her skirt and shoved her hand down.
“Look, guys!” enthusiasm in her voice. When she pulled out her hand, it was deep red with blood.
For a moment, we stared at her, wondering why she needed to inform us of her period.
When none of us gave her the right reaction, she exclaimed, “I'm pregnant!”

20230301 I visited my ChocoChip's new home. The living room was more like a long hall. At the far end was a white grand piano, with rows and rows of pews before it, like in a church. Cookie and I sat in the far back, a row before the last, as we waited for ChocoChip's daughter's piano recital to begin.

Behind us, David Tennant sat with his legs crossed and arms folded over his chest. His sharp suit was dark blue with pinstripes. John Barrowman was leaning from behind his seat, whispering something and giggling. I was in awe and too shy to speak to either of them.

At some point, I asked ChocoChip if there was something I could help her do, as relaxing is not something I know how to do. She gave me the task of baking frozen pizzas. Her oven was the sand-coloured, cheap model from The Sims 4.

2023023

I worked at a kiosk in a mall selling cigarettes during the Christmas season. There was a variety of flavours and countries, and sizes. Kanye West worked beside me as the stand's security, but he spent most of his time reading the worker's contract. I had trouble with a customer that was about to steal, but Kanye grabbed his wrist and nonchalantly told him to leave. Our manager came at the end of the day to help me close shop. He told Kanye he got a complaint for telling a loud customer to “shut up” while he used a light blue highlighter on his contract. He also gave me one to read and sign. It was a short contract with very few conditions, and some strange ones as well. Having to submit a 5” x 7” portrait photo of myself was one of the rules I can remember.
