20250119 Shortbread and I were back in school together, as characters we created, with a high school atmosphere. We went to our class, which looked like a small amphitheatre, and our teacher told us the parameters of our assignment. The class was a language arts one. We chose our groups: Shortbread, two other female, two other male students and me. We split up the work between us.

My partner was one of the boys. He was smaller than the rest of us and had big brown eyes and matching hair. We met at my apartment hallway (that looked like 9L's) with brown and orange carpet and yellow wallpaper from the 70's. Before we got into my home, he disappeared. In my teal, peep-toe stilettos, I ran around looking for him. He disappeared for days, and I spent any time that wasn't class looking for him. I had a minor crush on him, and obsessed with solving what happened to him.

Meanwhile, Shortbread's partner was the other boy. He was tall, handsome, curly-haired brunette. He also disappeared. At the same time I searched for the short boy, she looked for the tall boy.

Our paths crossed often, but we were preoccupied with our cases - our mysteries. When we talked, it was to check on each other and if we had any leads.

[I woke up, then returned to sleep.]

I went to class and set my books on a desk in the middle of the room. I noticed the short boy was back, sitting at the back row of desks. As I got up to talk to him, a group of mean girls declared I was sitting at their spot. I gathered my things as they teased me for being unremarkably dressed and set it on the desk behind them.

I went to the hallway, and a heavy gust blew through the hall. It was quick and hurricane-like as it lifted me off my feet and blew me horizontal. I held onto the door to keep from blowing away. When it stopped, the classes had ended and the hall filled with students.

Shortbread was one of the last to leave the class, holding her books on a short-rimmed baking sheet. She waited for me as I ran back in to grab my things, including my books that now sat on a similar baking sheet I've brought from home.

As we walked, I asked why she was upset. She said she had a crush on her partner, and embarrassed herself when she found him by telling him. When he rejected her, the whole class walked in and teased her, laughing. I told her, ”I blacked out" and can't remember at all how I solved my mystery. I wondered why we had baking trays and if we had a science project in a language arts class.

20250116 i worked in a retail store, and then took part time at another retail store. I preferred the second one and told my coworkers. We went to lunch together, which included Mango and Papaya and their eldest son who was three. Papaya and I filled on desserts.

i went on a field trip in a packed coach bus in university, to a local museum. There were floating, mulocoloured, huge fish swimming in the air above our heads. We spent the day there, and left just as it became 4pm. Most of the students have left on their own, and on the bus home, it was just a handful of us left and the female professor.

She asked the driver to stop somewhere in the middle of a busy town. I asked, “were thise floating fish real or...” but the bus was still dead silent and I felt embarrassed, realizing what I've just said.

I was the last to jump off the bus, but I grabbed an umbrella because it was raining. I took a pvc, clear one with many coloured polkadots. We crossed the street in the pouring rain and stopped at an outdoor market, just outside another art museum.

20259114 i was in university but taking the subway system. I felt free of responsibility so i travelled to a mall. I went window shopping in an area that had a Chinese grocery store.

I was in my parents' car at night, sitting beside my sister. I noticed a book in the front with my parents. I asked for it, and they handed it over. It was about Gundams, and I leafed through the full coloured pages on Gundam Wing. My dad got it free - the library let him keep it. It was in a brand new condition.

We parked underground at a huge shopping mall and went up the escalator. There was a Chinese store my mom wanted to shop in, so i sat in an area that looked like a mini food court.

I asked my mom, “are we at... Square... Square...” i couldn't recall the name.

The black lady, behind me, finished my sentence. “Square One.”

“Yes! That place!”

As my family went to look around, I went to a different table to rearrange the things in my backpack. On this table, they had a pile of books. I recognized the character on the cover of one. It was Kou Tenka from Houshin Engi, but in a doujinshi style.

20250107 i dreamt Amaretti lived in a multi--million dollar mansion, and its history. The master bedroom was built in a separate, smaller building outside the main one, and the main building was L-shaped. Amaretti showed us the blueprints before an event started in the main building.

The building was hosting a comic convention. I visited mid-day with my mom and sister because it was also like a mall. My cousins has visited too, and my friends were somewhere doing their own thing. I went to eat at the food area. After, I took a shortcut outside and saw the gardeners talking to someone I couldn't see. They spoke in Spanish and with one hand, gestured half an arc from up to the side im a 90 degree angle.

I came across a store with purses and figurines my mom wanted to look in. I picked up an old, Wonder Woman two figurine set when one employee asked me to accompany her. Before we left the store perimeter, I showed her the figurines. She took it and set it down anywhere.

She needed me to get into the master bedroom. She wanted to use the washroom. We crossed buildings and through the glass doors and up the staircase. The walls were sleek and black. As she used the washroom, I found a book of the original owner. There were floorplans and history of how lonely he was. He didn't have family when he died alone. Then i remembered the gardeners. He has family, but it was his staff. The gardeners were describing how he died by falling off a ladder.

20250106

I was in university, during my free period. I stumbled into a club that entertained children. There were various activities set around this room. A staff member saw me wandering and assigned me a task, assuming i was there to work. I was trying to cross the room to get to my class, which was in a mall.

I finally got to the class, where the professor had already started class. A childhood friend of mine was there, but he didn't recognize me. Shortbread, Spritz and Wafer also took the class, but stood at the other side of the room as the professor talked. I wondered if i was in the right class. I filled out forms, as did the class, and as i went to hand it in, Wafer handed me a few dollars, telling me to drop these off at the registrar office. I said 'no' and left the class.

I was Cookie's first day back to work from parental leave. We had just moved into a new home. It was an older house, with old furniture and cabinets. It was in the early hours of the morning with dark skies and snow on the ground. Cookie's mom had come to drop him off at work. While she waited in the car, Cookie rushed to the kitchen to grab lunch.

I picked up a tupperware and asked him, “what about this one?”

He said it belonged to the jetski instructor and he has a lesson on the weekend.

When Cookie was going to the car, his mom came in asking for water. As i got her a glass, i checked the baby monitor. Our baby had her piggy face on and was running around outside. I yelled for her to come back in.

20250105 In a supermarket, i rolled my cart to a refrigerated display almost empty of its contents. There were less than five hard cheeses and rolls of salami as I grabbed one of each and dropped it into my cart. An older man was also shopping for them, taking two of each item. He commented on how we must be kindred for wanting the same things at the same time, and invited me over to enjoy the cheese and salami.

I found myself sitting in his livingroom with a slice of salami in my hand and looking at the tray of goods on the coffee table in front of me.

20250104 we visited Peach and Tomato at a new apartment they lived in, though ae only saw their kitchen. The walls, floor tiles and countertops were white. Their dogs weren't present, and neither was our baby. They invited us over for steak, and so I tried to help them. I went into their drawers to grab the right pack of spices to use. They had their spices bundled in sets and in clear boxes.

I asked Peach, “which one?”

She looked briefly before yelling to Tomato, “Which one?”

Tomato came by, handed me a large stack of Home Depot flyers and found it.

I leafed through the flyers, commenting I was impressed by the amount they had aquired. They're fun to look through. When we finished cooking the vegetables, we were ready to cook the steak. Their home had become mobile, and we could see Toronto as if we were on a streetcar. My mom also materialized, saying she wanted to cook the steaks. I reminded her they're suppose to be half cooked - slightly raw in the centre.

I sat down across from Peach and asked how their dogs were.

20250101 i was removing curtains from the cottage and replacing them with new ones. The room was filled with sunshine.
